The Maison de soins palliatifs de Sudbury Hospice also known as Maison McCulloch Hospice is building upon more than ten years of excellence in community-based hospice palliative care, to support the Hospice’s ongoing commitment to provide the highest quality of care to the Greater Sudbury District through programs and services, resident/client empowerment and education.

  1. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older.
  2. Ticket purchasers must be in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
  3. Tickets will be available for purchase online at hospicehug5050.ca.
  4. Tickets will be sold 10 tickets for $10, 60 tickets for $20, 150 tickets for $50.
  5. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solution
  6. After buying tickets, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mailed with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
  7. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.
  8. The amount of the 50/50 will be posted hospicehug5050.ca.
  9. The lottery will take place online only
  • -Draw #1: Ticket Sales - Starting at 9:00 am on March 15th, 2021 to April 15th , 2021 until 11:59 pm EST. Draw to take place on April 16th at 11:00 am.
  • -Draw #2: Ticket Sales - Starting at 11:30 am on April 16th 2021 to May 16th 2021 until 11:59 pm EST. Draw to take place on May 17th 2021 at 11:00 am. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
  • -Draw #3: Ticket Sales - Starting at 11:30 am on May 17th 2021 to June 16th, 2021 until 11:59 pm EST. Draw to take place on June 17th 2021 at 11:00 am. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
  • -Draw #4: Ticket Sales - Starting at 11:30 am on June 17th 2021 to July 15th, 2021 until 11:59 pm EST. Draw to take place on July 16th 2021 at 11:00 am. The winning prize will be half of the sales.
  • -Draw #5: Ticket Sales - Starting at 11:30 am on July 16th 2021 to August 18th 2021 until 11:59 pm EST. Draw to take place on August 19th 2021 at 11:00 am.
  • -Draw #6: Ticket Sales - Starting at 11:30 am on August 19th 2021 to September 16th, 2021 until 11:59 pm EST. Draw to take place on September 17th, 2021 at 11:00 am.
  • -Draw #7: Ticket Sales - Starting at 11:30 am on September. 17th, 2021 to October 14th 2021 until 11:59 pm EST. Draw to take place on October 15th 2021 at 11:00 am.
  • -Draw #8: Ticket Sales - Starting at 11:30 am on October 15th 2021 to November 17th , 2021 until 11:59 pm EST. Draw to take place on November 18th 2021 at 11:00 am.

  • -Draw #11: Ticket Sales - Starting at 11:30 am on January 18th 2022 to February 17th, 2022 until 11:59 pm EST. Draw to take place on February 18th, 2022 at 11:00 am.
  • -Draw #12: Ticket Sales - Starting at 11:30 am on February 18th 2022 to March 14th, 2022 until 11:59 pm EST. Draw to take place on March 15th 2022 at 11:00 am.
  • The winning number will be announced
    One cash prize will be awarded for each draw, the winning ticket will be posted on the hospicehug5050.ca website. The winner may claim their prize by contacting Ashley Pawlowicz at the Sudbury Hospice Foundation: 705-674-9252 ext. 228, or by email at: maisonsudburyhospice@gmail.com. The winning ticket may then be brought to 1028 South Bay Road, Sudbury, ON, P3E 6J7, at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.
  • The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchase for.
  • The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
  • Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is 50% of the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
  • In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than the Maison de soins palliatifs de Sudbury Hospice, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
  • The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws:
    Maison de soins palliatifs de Sudbury Hospice as well as Sudbury Hospice Foundation Staff and Board of Directors, as well as family members living in the same household are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win.
  • Maison de soins palliatifs de Sudbury Hospice 5050 lottery tickets cannot be transferred or resold to another party.
